There is an explosion every summer in Vermont. An explosion of free crap left on the curb. As well as an explosion of flowers and nature and stuff. But, unlike their floral counterparts, Vermonters explode into collecting, trading, buying, selling and throwing away stuff. Things. Crap. Junk. New stuff in. Old Stuff out.(Sometimes the old stuff stays.) This summer I collected glassware that was abandoned on the sides of roads. Oh. And Lia grew awesome flowers. Asters, Cosmos, Zinnia, Bachelor's Buttons, Mexican Sunflowers. (More on flowers somewhere else)
